Festivals and Events in Randolph County

There is nothing to compare to the 'down home' warmth and welcome that encompasses you at one of our village homecomings!   Whether you live here, are returning for a visit, or a complete stranger to the area,  the people are friendly, courteous, helpful and caring, taking you into their fold.  Its not unusual at all, for someone to immediately launch into a recitation of your pedigree when you mention your name!
Some of these festivals include tours of historic buildings/homes, and re-enactments, where you can learn first-hand, how your ancestors lived and the perils they faced.
If at all possible, plan your vacation around at least one of these heart-warming events.
 You'll be glad you did!
